Cancer Checklist Education Continues in 2013
January 02 2013

Beginning in January 2010, the Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP-ACP) in collaboration with the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) and Cancer Care Ontario (CCO), launched a series of education sessions to promote awareness of the new College of American Pathologists cancer pathology reporting protocols within the pathology, clinician and cancer registry communities. Led by pathology experts, these 90-minute education events were accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for continuing education credits. Recordings of the sessions are available as reference materials.

Due to the overwhelming success of the education sessions to date, CAP-ACP, CPAC and CCO are pleased to announce the continuation of the education sessions in 2013 for the following disease sites:

Each session will be presented "live" via WebEx, with a recording of the live presentation made available online after each session at www.cancerview.ca.

The first education session of 2013 will be on 16 January 2013, about the Liver & Biliary Tract, followed by Vulva, Vagina & Cervix on 23 January 2013.
