International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting – Dataset Feedback
Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Members of the Canadian Association of Pathologists are invited to review and provide comment on the draft dataset for carcinomas of the ovary, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal site, developed by the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR), of which CAP-ACP is a founding member.

The ICCR has been formed to develop common, internationally standardized and evidence-based cancer datasets for surgical pathology specimens.  Using the best international approaches, and leveraging the knowledge and experience of world–leading pathologists, the ICCR aims to ensure that all cancer reports, will be of the same high quality; ensuring completeness, consistency, clarity, conciseness and above all, clinical utility.

The ICCR has published four cancer datasets to date – Lung, Melanoma, Prostate (Radical Prostatectomy), and Endometrium. These datasets are posted at : www.rcpa.edu.au//Library/Practising-pathology/ICCR/Cancer-Datasets
