ABOUT THE COMMITEE

Purpose: Continuing medical education (CME), also known as continuing professional development (CPD) is an important part of a pathologist's career-long learning. The CAP-ACP is a fully accredited provider of CME/CPD under the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. This Committee is responsible for the planning and administration of the Continuing Education activities of the CAP-ACP, consisting of:

Obtaining MOC Accreditation for a CME/CPD Activity You Have Developed

As a RCPSC MOC accredited provider of CME/CPD, the CAP-APC through its CPD Committee can evaluate and, if appropriate, approve for inclusion in Section 1 ("Accredited Group Learning Activities") the CME/CPD activities (e.g. rounds, journal clubs, workshops, courses, web-based events, and other group learning activities) developed by CAP-ACP members and non-members.
