The focus for 2018 is Pulmonary, Thoracic & Lung and will provide a forum for sharing information on current molecular diagnostics in the era of personalized medicine.

Objectives

After attending this course, participants will be able to:

  • Review common topics in the practice of Pulmonary, Thoracic & Lung
  • Update knowledge with newer concepts and classifications in Pulmonary, Thoracic & Lung
  • Interact with experts and hone practical diagnostic approaches to Pulmonary, Thoracic & Lung

The course will be of interest to residents, fellows, and practicing general, anatomic and molecular pathologists.

Accreditation

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and approved by the Canadian Association of Pathologists - Association canadienne des pathologistes (CAP-ACP).  Participants may claim up to a maximum of 20.0 hours of study credits.

Through an agreement between the Royal College and Surgeons of Canada and the Amercican Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Information on this process can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.
