PATHOLOGISTS' ASSISTANTS CONFERENCE 2015
The PA Section Conference next year will be held at the Westin Montréal Hotel, Montreal, QC during the joint meeting of the Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP-ACP) and Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists (CSCC), June 20 to June 24 2015. The PA Section Conference dates and registration instructions will be posted as the event approaches. Please make every attempt to join us next year as we will be having important discussions re: certification.

The Section of Pathologists' Assistants within the Canadian Association of Pathologists is dedicated to establishing standards of professional ethics, education, and key competencies leading to national certification of Pathologists' Assistants. We promote and support excellent standards of practice, to ensure the highest quality of patient care in anatomic pathology.

Function: The Membership Committee is responsible to: itemize core competencies for pathologists' assistants, propose a plan to "grandfather" current practicing pathologists' assistants, develop a set of criteria for membership and to increase recruitment of currently practicing pathologists' assistants.
