Shared Health Inc. (located at 1502 – 155 Carlton Street, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3H8) is seeking applications for a permanent full-time Hematopathologist.
The successful candidate will join our Hematopathology Department that provides comprehensive diagnostic services on hematology, transfusion medicine, lymphoma and immunology to the Province of Manitoba.
Primary duties will include comprehensive hematopathology in support of various local tertiary care programs, and a provincial referral program. All job duties are required in English. Expertise in hemostasis and transfusion medicine, and experience with Canadian residency program in hematological pathology are assets
Candidates will take part in the teaching of postgraduate and undergraduate students, and to hold an appointment in the University of Manitoba Department of Pathology
Candidates must hold a medical degree, with certification in Hematological Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Previous experience an asset, but not required.
