Hematopathologist – British Columbia
Dr. C.J. Coady Associates
A full-time position in Hematological Pathology is available within Dr. C.J. Coady Associates. The successful candidate will join a team of 9 Hematopathologists and participate in an integrated laboratory medicine practice providing primary and tertiary level laboratory hematology diagnostic services (bone marrow pathology, coagulation, thalassemia/ hemoglobinopathy, flow cytometry) and transfusion medicine services.
Dr. C.J. Coady Associates is a partnership of about 50 laboratory physicians who provide a range of professional pathology services to 12 acute care hospitals in the Fraser Health Authority. The Fraser Health Authority is the largest and fastest growing health authority in British Columbia and the second largest health authority in Canada.
Qualified candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. Specialist qualification in Hematologic Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is required. Individuals with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada qualification in General Pathology plus extensive experience in Hematopathology may also be considered.
The successful candidate will be eligible for academic appointment as clinical faculty through the University of British Columbia. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without restriction (i.e. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency).

Compensation will be commensurate with the BC Pathologist grid rate.
