The Department of Laboratory Medicine is looking for a pathologist to join our team of 6 full time pathologists providing surgical pathology and cytopathology. The pathology laboratory receives a wide variety of specimens, including breast, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary oncologic resections. The laboratory is newly renovated and features a comprehensive on-site immunohistochemistry service. There are opportunities for involvement in teaching and creative professional activities, and the successful applicant may be eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Toronto.
The preferred candidate:
• Must have licensure to practice in Ontario and certification in either anatomical or general pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; and
• Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in breast, gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology would be considered an asset, but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
