The Laboratory Medicine Department of the Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) of Interior Health Authority is seeking a third hematopathologist to join two other hematopathologists in full time hematopathology practice. The service include diagnosis of lymph node and marrow based disorders, collection of bone marrows, transfusion medicine and coagulation testing. Flow cytometry is not currently available however it is planned for in the future. KGH is a regional referral hospital providing specialized surgical, medical and oncology services to 500,000 people. The successful candidate will join a large laboratory faculty with 15 laboratory physicians. The Candidate must be eligible for licensure in the Province of British Columbia and be a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
